Network & Data Center

Tulsa CoLocate currently owns and operates a state-of-the-art data center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, offering redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security. With over 570 square meters of raised floor space, Tulsa Colocate, has an offering to fit any need. Our product offering includes cabinets, half-cabinets, and rackspce by the Unit. The data center has been engineered to avoid any single point of failure in connectivity, power, or HVAC. Our data center is both physically and logically secure. It is physically isolated from everyone but Tulsa CoLocate Certified Engineers. All doors cipher lock systems. Power systems are designed to run uninterrupted even in the unlikely event of a total power outage. All systems are fed by conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power that will activate if utility power fails.

Network Infrastructure

We currently manage DS3 connection to the backbone. We are redundantly connected via Wiltel to Houston and Espire to Kansas City. Our network architecture utilizes the routing and switching engines from Cisco and Extreme Networks. We utilize Cisco routers as border routers, Cisco series switches in our distribution layer and Enterasys, Tiara and Summit switches in our aggregation layers, and Cisco series switches at the customer layer. Our network is fully meshed and redundant with 2 backbone providers.
